•Ifyouareinstallingahot-swapredundantpowersupply,locatethebayforthepowersupplyinthe
rearofyourserver.Insertangerintotheholeinthemetalshieldthatprotectsthebay,pressthetab
1inthedirectionasshown,andthenpulltheshieldoutofthechassis.Storetheshieldintheevent
thatyoulaterremovethepowersupplyandneedtheshieldtocoverthebay.

•Ifyouarereplacingahot-swapredundantpowersupply,locatethefailingpowersupplyintherearof
yourserverandthendisconnectthepowercordfromthefailinghot-swapredundantpowersupply.
Note:Oneachhot-swapredundantpowersupply,thereisastatusLEDnearthepowercord
connector.WhentheLEDislitingreen,itindicatesthatthehot-swapredundantpowersupplyis
workingcorrectly.WhentheLEDislitinamber,itindicatesthatthehot-swapredundantpower
supplyislikelytofailorhasfailed.IfyourservercomeswithanIntelligentDiagnosticsModule
Premium,youalsocanviewtheLEDsonthepanelofthemoduletolocatethefailingpowersupply.
