ThefollowinginstructionsprovideinstallationproceduresforAccessConnections.

InstallingAccessConnectionswithoutuserinteraction

ToinstallAccessConnectionswithoutuserinteraction,completethefollowingsteps:

1.StartMicrosoft

Windows

XP ,WindowsVista

®,

orWindows7andthenlogonwithadministrative

privileges.

2.ExtracttheAccessConnectionssoftwarepackagetotheharddiskdrive.

3.Openacommandpromptwindowwithadministratorprivilege(ifapplicable).

4.ThefollowingcommandcanbeusedtoinstallAccessConnections.

a.T oinstallinteractively,type:

<path>\setup.exe

b.Toinstallsilently,type:

<path>\setup.exe-S-SMS[WindowsXP]

<path>\setup/s/v"/qnREBOOT=ReallySuppress"[WindowsVistaor7]

c.T oinstallwithspeciﬁcdevicesupport[WindowsVistaand7only]

Addthespeciﬁcdevicetypeand=NoifthedeviceisnottobesupportedbyAccessConnections.

Thedevicetypesare;LAN,WLAN,WWAN,WIMAX,andMODEM.Forexample:

<path>\setup.exe/v”MODEM=NoWWAN=No”

WouldpreventAccessConnectionsfrommanagingtheLANandWWANconnection.Otherwise,by

default,AccessConnectionswillmanagealloftheabovedevicesifpresent.

Note:WheninstallingAccessConnections,installtheversiondesignedspeciﬁcallyforyouroperating

system.OtherversionsofAccessConnectionsmaynotfunctionproperlywiththeincorrectoperatingsystem.
