Transactional Rescue and Recovery
Transactional Rescue and Recovery provides a transactional GUI with a few basic
operations. Rescue and Recovery can be configured to lock out either the
transactional GUI or the advanced GUI, but not both.
When Rescue and Recovery is first started, the user will see the transactional GUI
unless the Simple User Interface setting is disabled. Thereafter, if the user will see
the interface they were using when they last closed the application. If the Simple
User Interface setting is disabled, the advanced GUI will be displayed each time
Rescue and Recovery starts. If the Interface Switching setting is disabled, the user
will not be able to switch between the two interfaces.
Note:
These settings are not available as command line settings. They can only be
set in Active Directory. See the ThinkVantage Technologies XML/ADM Supplement for
more information.

To customize parts of the Rescue and Recovery Predesktop Area, use the rrutil.exe
