•IfyouremovetheTSMPremium,theiKVMfunctionforserverremotemanagementwillbeunavailable.
•UseanydocumentationthatcomeswiththeTSMPremiumandfollowthoseinstructionsinadditionto
theinstructionsinthistopic.
•Dependingonthemodel,yourservermightlookslightlydifferentfromtheillustrationinthistopic.
IfyourserverhasaTSMPremiuminstalled,dothefollowingwhenyouwanttoremovetheTSMPremium:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Iftheserverisinstalledinarackcabinet,removetheserverfromtherackcabinetandplaceitonaflat,
clean,andstatic-protectivesurface.SeetheRackInstallationInstructionsthatcomeswiththeserver.If
theserverisintowerformfactor,laytheserveronitssideforeasieroperation.
3.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage66.
4.Removethecoolingshroud.See“Removingthecoolingshroud”onpage69.
