•StartWindowsfromtheHardwarePasswordManagerServicesmenu.

•LogintoWindowsbymanuallyenteringtheirWindowscredentials.

•LaunchtheClientPortalandselectRemoveUser.

•Re-enrolltheaccountinHardwarePasswordManager.

Scenario2-ForgotHardwareAccountcredentials,NOTnetwork

connected

Thisscenariooccurswhenauserforgetstheirhardwareaccountcredentialsanddoesnothavenetwork

connectivitytotheHardwarePasswordManagerserver.Toresolvethisproblem,dothefollowing:

1.CalltheITadministratorandobtaintheEmergencyAdministratoraccountcredentials.Poweronthe

computerandenterthesecredentialspertheUserLoginprompt.

2.LogintoWindowsbymanuallyenteringtheirWindowscredentials.

3.LaunchClientPortalandselectRemoveUser.

4.Re-enrolltheiraccountinHardwarePasswordManager.

AnotherwaytodothisisfortheusertoentertheBIOSsetupafterprovidingtheAdministratoraccount

credentialsanddisableHardwarePasswordManager.Thiswillclearthehardwareaccountandhardware

passwords.TheusercanthenstartHardwarePasswordManagerandre-registerthesystemwhenreturning

toalocationwithnetworkconnectivitytotheHardwarePasswordManagerserver.

Scenario3-Forgotthecorporatepassword

Thisscenariooccurswhenauserforgetstheircorporatepassword.Inthiscase,theusercanstillusetheir

systemviauserlogin.Theusercanresettheircorporatepasswordusingtheircorporateprocess(websiteor

manualresetbyITAdministrator).

Ifpolicyissettohavethehardwareaccountequaltheuser'sWindowsaccount,thenafterthecorporate

passwordisreset,theuserneedstoperformaHardwarePasswordManagerloginusingtheoldcorporate

credentials.AttheWindowslogin,theuserwillbepromptedfortheirnewpassword.TheHardware

PasswordManagerclientportalwillthenprompttheusertoallowittosynchronizethehardwareaccount

withtheirnewpassword.Afterthiscompletes,theuserwillbeabletousetheirnewpasswordatthe

nextHardwarePasswordManagerlogin.
