EnablinganddisablingtheBluetoothfunction
ToenableordisabletheBluetoothfunction,doeitherofthefollowing:
•OpentheQuickSettingspanelandswitchBluetoothtoON.
•OpenAndroidSettingsandswitchBluetoothtoON.
Whenenabled,theBluetoothiconisdisplayedonthesystembar.WhenyouarenotusingBluetooth,turnit
offtoextendthebatterylife.
ChangingtheBluetoothnameofyourtablet
YourtablethasagenericBluetoothnamebydefault,whichisvisibletootherdeviceswhenyouaretryingto
connecttothem.Youcanchangethisnametoyourpreferencetomakeitmorerecognizabletoyou.
Tochangethename,dothefollowing:
1.OpenAndroidSettingsandturnonBluetoothifitisdisabled.
2.TouchBluetooth.
3.TouchthemenuiconandtouchRenametablet.
4.Typeanewname,andthentouchRename.
PairingwithaBluetoothdevice
ToexchangedatawithanotherBluetoothdevice,pairyourtabletwiththeBluetoothdevicebydoingthe
following:
1.OpenAndroidSettingsandturnonBluetoothifitisdisabled.
2.TouchSEARCHFORDEVICES.AlistofdeviceIDsisdisplayed.
3.TouchtheIDoftheBluetoothdeviceyouwanttopairwithandfollowtheinstructionsonbothdevicesto
pairthem.
4.Whenthepairingissuccessful,thedeviceislistedunderPAIREDDEVICES.
TransferringdatabetweenyourtabletandaBluetoothdevice
AfteryoupairyourtablettoaBluetoothdevice,youcantransferdatabetweenyourtabletandthedevice.
TosendaletothepairedBluetoothdevice,dothefollowing:
1.Touchandholdthedesireditemtobringuptheoptionsmenu.
2.TouchtheshareiconorSend,thentouchBluetooth.
3.ReceivetheleattheconnectedBluetoothdevice.Consultthedocumentationthatcamewiththe
connectedBluetoothdeviceforinformationonhowtoreceiveale.
