•Ifyouarereplacinganopticaldrive,disconnectthesignalcableandthepowercablefromtherearof
theopticaldrive.Presstherearoftheretainingbracket1inthedirectionasshownandpushthe
opticaldrivefromtherearuntilitisprojectedfromthefrontofthechassis.Then,holdtheoptical
drivefromthefrontandcompletelyslideitoutofthechassis.

Storethedummyopticaldrivetrayintheeventthatyoulaterremovetheopticaldriveandneedthe
dummyopticaldrivetraytocovertheplace.
6.Touchthestatic-protectivepackagethatcontainsthenewopticaldrivetoanyunpaintedsurfaceonthe
outsideoftheserver.Then,takethenewopticaldriveoutofthepackage.
7.Removetheretainingbracketfromtheoldopticaldriveorthedummyopticaldrivetray.Then,installit
onthesideofthenewopticaldrive.
