ToremovetheTR500Key,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage67.
3.Laytheserveronitssideforeasieroperation.
4.RemovethePCIcardbracketassembly.See“RemovingandreinstallingthePCIcardbracket
assembly”onpage71.
5.LocatetheThinkServerRAID500Adapter,whichisinstalledinthePCI-Eslot1onthesystemboard.

6.Removeanypartsordisconnectanycablesthatmightimpedeyouroperation.
7.RemovetheTR500KeyfromtheThinkServerRAID500Adapter.Ifnecessary,youcanremovethe
ThinkServerRAID500Adapterfirst,removetheTR500Keyfromit,andthenreinstalltheThinkServer
