4. Press down and push the small handle outward on the microprocessor socket

to lift the handle to the open position.

5. Gently press the retainer of the microprocessor socket to open it.

6. Remove the protective cover from the microprocessor socket. To avoid

damaging the pins in the microprocessor socket, do not touch the pins while

removing the cover.
