BootOptionsmenu
TheBootOptionsmenuintheSetupUtilityprogramprovidesaninterfacetohelpyouvieworchangethe
serverstartupoptions,includingthestartupsequenceandbootpriorityforvariousdevices.Changesinthe
startupoptionstakeeffectwhentheserverstarts.
Thestartupsequencespecifiestheorderinwhichtheserverchecksdevicestofindabootrecord.Theserver
startsfromthefirstbootrecordthatitfinds.Forexample,youcandefineastartupsequencethatchecksa
discintheopticaldrive,thencheckstheharddiskdrive,andthenchecksanetworkdevice.Forinformation

BootManagermenu
TheBootManagermenuintheSetupUtilityprogramlistsallthebootabledevicesinstalledinyourserver
andthelisteditemsvarydependingonyourserverconfiguration.Ifyouselectadesireddevicelistedonthis
menu,theserverwillstartfromthedeviceyouselect.
YoucanpressF12whenturningontheserverandselectatemporarystartupdevicefromthebootdevice
selectionwindow.See“Selectingastartupdevice”onpage56.
Save&Exitmenu
AfteryoufinishviewingorchangingsettingsintheSetupUtilityprogram,youcanchooseadesired
actionfromtheSave&Exitmenutosavechanges,discardchanges,orloaddefaultvalues,andexitthe
program.PressEntertoselecttheitemontheSave&ExitmenuandthenselectYeswhenpromptedto
confirmtheaction.ForinformationaboutexitingtheSetupUtilityprogram,see“ExitingtheSetupUtility
program”onpage57
.
TheSave&Exitmenucontainsthefollowingitems:
•SaveChangesandExit:SavechangesandexittheSetupUtilityprogram.

•DiscardChangesandExit:Discardchanges,loadpreviousvalues,andthenexittheSetupUtility
