bracket1.Theprocedureissimilarforrisercardinstalledontherisercardbracket2.
Toreplacetherisercard,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Prepareyourserver.See“Removingorextendingtheserverfromtherackcabinet”onpage69.
3.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage69.
4.Loosenthescrewthatsecurestherisercardassembly.Then,grasptheassemblybyitsedgesand
carefullyliftitstraightupandoffthechassis.

5.IfthereisanyPCIecardinstalledontherisercard,recordthecableconnectionsfirst.Then,disconnect
allcablesfromthecardsandcompletelyremovetherisercardassemblyoutofthechassis.
