Toreplacethepowerdistributionboard,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Prepareyourserver.See“Removingorextendingtheserverfromtherackcabinet”onpage69.
3.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage69.
4.Disconnectthepowercablesfromthepowerdistributionboard.
5.Removethecoolingshroud.See“Removingandreinstallingthecoolingshroud”onpage72.
6.Removethesystemfancagewithsystemfans.See“Removingandreinstallingthesystemfancage”
onpage77.
7.Recordthecomponentlocations,cableconnections,andcableroutingintheserver.
8.Removethetworisercardassemblies.See“Replacingtherisercard”onpage85.
